| Explain briefly the idea |
Sodium methoxide can theoretically react with dimethyl carbonate to give Tri-methoxy sodium tert butoxide. Because of the 3 electron releasing inductive effect of oxygen, this could be a SUPER BASE!. No data on this compound so far!
